We deliver high-quality steel structures for commercial, industrial, and residential applications across Western Canada. Our focus is on full-scope contracts (fabrication, erection, and cladding) where precision, safety, and efficiency matter most.
Position Summary
We are looking for experienced Welders with valid CWB All-Position Certification to join our team. You will primarily work on modular building projects involving structural steel welding, and assembly in both shop and field environments. This role suits skilled tradespeople who take pride in quality workmanship, safety, and working as part of a tight-knit crew on exciting, varied projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural assembly for modular buildings and steel frames.
- Weld in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead) using SMAW, FCAW, and other processes as required, meeting CWB and project specifications.
- Fabricate, fit, and weld components in the shop and on-site.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and erection plans.
- Ensure all work complies with Alberta safety regulations, CWB standards, and client quality requirements.
- Collaborate with crew leads, project managers, and subcontractors to maintain schedules and high-quality standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
- Participate in daily safety meetings and follow all site-specific safety protocols.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid CWB All-Position Welding Certification (essential).
- Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Manlift / Scissor Lift, and other relevant safety tickets/certifications are required.
- Journeyman Welder ticket, Red Seal, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of Welding experience in a construction environment.
- Strong ability to work in varying weather conditions (Alberta climate).
- Experience with modular/prefabricated building systems is a strong asset.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and provide a clean criminal record check.
