Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse & Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team. The Warehouse & Logistics Associate, Tier 1 plays a key role in supporting and coordinating daily warehouse and distribution operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position combines hands-on operational responsibilities with leadership support, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate inventory management, and adherence to company safety standards, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements, including HACCP guidelines.
The Warehouse & Logistics Associate – Tier 1 reports directly to the Production Supervisor or Operations Supervisor and provides day-to-day guidance and support to warehouse team members while ensuring operational consistency, productivity, and compliance across all warehouse functions.
Responsibilities·
Safely lift, move, and transport materials weighing up to 60 lbs on a frequent basis
· Support daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
· Assist in coordinating workflow and task allocation to meet production and shipping deadlines
· Accurately enter and maintain data in inventory and tracking systems
· Oversee and support order accuracy and shipment preparation
· Receive inbound shipments and verify product quantities, weights, and documentation
· Maintain organized warehouse inventory and support inventory control procedures
· Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and responsibly (where certified)
· Monitor and reinforce compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and workplace standards
· Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations
· Maintain compliance with HACCP food safety requirements
· Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure consistent performance and adherence to procedures
· Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding operational, inventory, or shipment issues
Requirements
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
· Effective organizational and time management skills
· Clear verbal communication and team coordination skills
· Basic math skills: conversion knowledge is an asset
· Ability to support and guide team members in daily operations
· Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving preferred
· Forklift certification considered an asset
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
· Positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on accountability and consistency
