Summary of Job Description
a. Develop and implement sales plans to achieve sales targets
b. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and new potential customers.
c. Gather and analyze data to identify competitor activities, customer needs, market opportunities and develop targeted sales strategies.
d. Promote and sell the company’s products and services.
e. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and establish strong ones with new clients.
f. Provide exceptional support and customer service to clients.
g. Where necessary, conduct field visits to assess crop conditions.
h. Educate customers on product features and benefits. Provide them with the proper advice on the effective use of the company’s products.
Job Requirements:
- College degree in Agriculture, or a related field .
- Proven experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, or a related role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using sales software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing solutions and achieving customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
