The intern for the Business Engagement team will report directly to the Director, Business Engagement. The Business Engagement team at Loblaw is the bridge between the Business and Technology. Our role is to ensure that we assist in offering valuable Loblaw Technology solutions to our business partners that enhances and improves their business. The role will be based out of our corporate head office in Brampton, Ontario at 1 President’s Choice Circle, with exposure to other office locations, such as Shoppers Drug Mart office in North York, Digital, PC Financial, and Joe Fresh in downtown Toronto.
What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with our Business Engagement Managers (BEMs), Analysts, Business stakeholders to capture, consolidate, and communicate information supporting projects and internal initiatives
Participate in business planning discussions for multi-year business roadmaps
Actively participate in the Product family teams day to day activities and assist with process support and tools
Gain experience in business requirements gathering and business case development as it relates to Technology Enhancements and Projects
Collaborate with our Innovation Team to bring new technology ideas to our business partners
Organize and conduct project and portfolio meetings
Maintain and track logs of team initiatives and deliverables
Assist with the follow-up and tracking of project and portfolio action items
Network cross functionally between Technology, Supply Chain business teams and other business areas
