Hotel Maintenance Employee
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Hotel Maintenance Employee to join our team. This position is responsible for helping maintain the hotel’s guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Respond to guest room and hotel maintenance calls in a timely and professional manner
- Perform basic plumbing repairs, including toilets, sinks, faucets, drains, and leaks
- Assist with basic HVAC troubleshooting, including heating, cooling, filters, thermostats, and PTAC units
- Perform basic electrical repairs, including light fixtures, outlets, breakers, lamps, and switches
- Complete regular preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas
- Inspect and repair doors, locks, furniture, walls, flooring, and other hotel equipment
- Maintain pools, mechanical rooms, storage areas, and maintenance spaces as required
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Report larger repairs, safety concerns, or parts needed to management
- Assist other departments when maintenance support is needed
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel maintenance or building maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs
- Strong attention to detail and good time management
- Able to lift, bend, stand, and work on your feet for extended periods
- Must be dependable, professional, and able to work independently
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
