Job Description
-Registered Massage Therapists to analyze, consult, provide professional & knowledgeable treatments through a variety of trained modalities eg: Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, Swedish, etc...
-New grads welcome & qualified candidates beginning their careers as a Registered Massage Therapist that possess the right qualities
-Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a team environment. Demonstrated commitment to post graduate professional development
-Must be willing to develop a practice within Meraki Therapeutics while developing their own skills and knowledge
-Provide outstanding efforts for positive client experiences, dedicated, passionate with strong work ethic a must
-Ability to anticipate and focus attention on clients needs, being professional and welcoming, excellent organizational skills and time management is a must
-Ensuring treatment room, equipment, oil bottles, etc... is cleaned to protocol standards after each treatment and at the end of each shift
-Must follow & adhere to company standards & policies
-Respectful of space & cleanliness of common working areas, washrooms, staff room, etc... We all work together as a team in a team oriented atmosphere
Position Requirements
-Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Registered Massage Therapists (CMTBC)
-Performing 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 minute massages in Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, Swedish, etc...
- Minimum 1 year hands on experience an asset (Soon-to-be & New grads welcomed!)
-Strong knowledge of Anatomy and physical health a must
-Understands and believes in the healing benefits of Massage Therapy
-Excellent guest services and communication skills (Possess strong command of English Language)
-Motivated and has a great positive attitude
-Team player and physically fit
-Scheduling flexibility and reliability is a must. Mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, etc...
-Must have reliable source of transportation (located on major bus routes, free parking available)
