The Program Evaluator will consult with the program submissions team and Senior Management team for all Digital Marketing related programs.
PTIB Standards:
Credential Requirement:
- Relevant credential plus a minimum of 2 years of occupational experience in career occupations relevant to the program of instruction.
- No credential but a minimum of 10 years of occupational experience in a career relevant to the program of instruction.
Educational Background:
- Post-secondary three-year Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design or a related discipline required
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or design preferred
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ post-secondary teaching experience
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in the graphic design industry
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Experience in art direction, professional Illustration, and corporate branding
- A strong portfolio showing a range of creative work
- Knowledge of pre-press production and workflow
- Strong sense of design theory and typography
- Client management skills including costing, quoting and job timeline management an asset
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners from different backgrounds
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with various technologies
- Previous post-secondary teaching experience (hybrid and/or online delivery) and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
Compensation:
- This will be a contract position that will pay $250.00 to $300 Canadian per project
