Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 4th Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals progressing through their electrical training to gain hands-on experience in industrial and construction environments. The ideal candidate will be eager to develop their skills under the supervision of licensed electricians, contributing to various electrical projects. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute electrical tasks accurately.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for wiring, conduit bending, and other electrical work.
- Work with low voltage systems and assist in troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Support the installation of low voltage wiring, control panels, and other electrical components.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment during projects.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while adhering to quality standards.
- Document work performed and report progress or issues to supervisors promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience as an industrial electrician or construction electrician is preferred but not required; relevant training or coursework is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, and low voltage systems is highly desirable.
- Construction experience or background working on industrial sites will be considered a plus.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Solar experience an asset

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour
