We are a growing aerospace service provider who is seeking a full-time Composites Technician. The individual must be experienced working with an Autoclave, a strong aerospace composite and manufacturing background is beneficial.
Job Summary:
The Composite Technician is directly accountable to the Production Manager. He/she is to carry out technical and design functions assigned to them as directed. He/she will ensure that these activities are accomplished in accordance with the policies and procedures defined in the company approved Maintenance Quality Procedures Manual, Maintenance Policy Manual, Procedures Manual, technical manuals, and corporate policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience working with pre-preg composites is essential
- Experienced working with an Autoclave is beneficial
- Experienced in Composite manufacturing, specifically honeycomb and carbon fiber is beneficial.
- Attention to detail is required.
- Hold a valid unobstructed BC Driver’s License.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
- Working with and operating an Autoclave
- Assist in the assembly of composite aerospace parts & assemblies.
- Assist in the concept and design and manufacture of production composite tooling.
- Follow detailed drawings for the manufacturing process.
- Follow Manufacturing Check Sheets and other Company documentation to complete work assignments.
- Assist in the manufacturing process with material cutting, layup, part trimming, assembly and finishing.
- Complete work sheets and other required Company documents for all work accomplished as directed.
- Carry out and complete work assignments as directed.
- Maintaining clean room and department shop and tooling as required.
- Assist in miscellaneous duties as directed.
- Maintain and ensure a safe and clean working environment

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
