Overview
Blue Star Learning Centre is currently seeking for part-time instruction, a knowledgeable and experienced Truck and Transport Mechanic Instructor for Red Seal to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and preparing students for the Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic exam.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured lessons aligned with the Red Seal exam requirements
- Support students through theory and practical understanding of concepts related to Truck and transport mechanic trade.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Facilitate engaging classroom discussions and activities that promote critical thinking and active participation.
- Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages respect, collaboration, and inclusivity among students.
Qualifications
- Valid IP Red Seal certification in Truck and Transport Mechanic
- Strong instructional and communication skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students effectively.
- A commitment to professional development and lifelong learning in the field of education.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00-$80.00 per hour
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic certification (required)
