Happy Kidz Daycare/Garderie Joyeux Enfants is now looking to add a new member to our team!
Happy Kidz is a private-subsidized daycare center, recognized by the Ministere de la famille et des aines. In our 30+ years of experience, we have created an environment that is not only safe and secure but stimulating, educational and fun.
Through thoughtfully planned educational activities, and diverse learning centers within the classroom, we strongly believe that children learn as they play and that the children are the primary agents of their development. .
Duties
- Plan, prepare and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Implement the educational program "Meeting early childhood needs"
- Create a welcoming and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Support children’s individual needs, including those with disabilities or special requirements, through tailored caregiving strategies.
- Foster positive relationships with children to build trust and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure consistent support for each child's growth and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, attendance, and daily activities
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational settings.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Ability to provide compassionate care to individual needs.
- Classroom experience demonstrating effective behavior and classroom management, and activity planning.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, families, and team members in both English and French.
- Relevant education and experiencein the field.
Pay: $17.43-$28.95 per hour
