Chau is a Toronto-based boutique catering company that offers unique, creative, and custom catering options for weddings and other occasions where people gather to eat and celebrate. We pride ourselves in creating bespoke menus offering a wide variety of unique flavours.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting the Events Manager and the Chef with administrative duties
- HIGH attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks throughout the day
- Maintaining social media content and accounts
- Responding to client emails as assigned by the Events Manager
- Oversee and assist in office catering orders (acquired through Epicater, Foodee, and email)
- Organize packaging, assembly, double check allergens.
- Using Quickbooks to process and organize receipts, invoices, and other tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- 6 months – 1 year of previous administrative experience, and/or office and event planning
- Experience within the hospitality and customer service industry
- Ability to efficiently use Gmail and Google Drive, including Sheets, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends is a must

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
