Part-Time Cashier – Hector’s Your Independent Grocer
Hector’s Your Independent Grocer is currently hiring Part-Time Cashiers!
Are you friendly, reliable, and passionate about providing great customer service? We’re looking for enthusiastic team members who enjoy working with people and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently through the tills
- Bag customer purchases
- Provide excellent and friendly customer service
- Assist customers at self-checkout
- Follow strict cleaning schedules to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Follow all health and safety standards and procedures
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as required
Availability
Candidates must be available for some of the following shifts:
- Day shifts between: 10am-7:30pm
- Evening shifts between : 3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Weekends: Saturday or Sunday (open availability required)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Previous cash-handling experience is preferred
- Customer service or cash-office experience is an asset
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in environments that may be hot and/or cold
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
