About us:
We are a leading company in the biosciences sector, dedicated to innovation and excellence. We believe that the future of our industry lies in the hands of passionate, energetic, and knowledgeable individuals who are eager to make a difference.
As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly motivated and articulate Customer Service and Sales Associate to join our team. This is an entry-level career opportunity where individual character and dedication are valued above years of industry experience. Complete, comprehensive training on our services and industry standards will be provided.
Position Overview:
The Customer Service and Sales Associate serves as a primary ambassador for Healthcord. This foundational role blends consultative sales, medical community outreach, and client relationship management. The successful candidate will educate prospective clients, build networks with healthcare providers, and successfully secure enrollments.
We utilize an educational, value-driven approach to sales. You will manage high-quality inbound leads, guide expecting parents through a significant healthcare decision with empathy, and proactively engage with medical clinics to expand our referral network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consultative Sales: Manage inbound inquiries via phone, email and video, educating prospective families on the clinical benefits of cord blood and tissue banking, and converting leads into closed enrollments.
- Healthcare Provider Engagement: Proactively liaise with medical clinics, OB-GYNs, and healthcare providers. Conduct outbound in-person outreach to distribute educational materials, establish referral channels, and elevate Healthcord's brand awareness within the medical community.
- Client Relationship Management: Provide end-to-end concierge customer service, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry through to the processing of the collection kit.
- Pipeline Management: Document interactions meticulously within our CRM, follow up with warm leads, and manage sales pipelines to meet monthly enrollment objectives.
- Account Administration & Client Support: Manage client records and enrollment documentation with high precision, process billing and payment updates, and efficiently resolve post-enrollment inquiries to maintain a seamless client lifecycle.
- Sales Projects Assistance: Assist with sales development such as chatbot, email marketing and client FAQs. Help create effective approaches to sales follow ups, strategies and protocols.
Candidate Profile (Who You Are):
We believe that specific industry skills can be taught, but core professional traits cannot. We are strictly looking for high-quality candidates who demonstrate a combination of professionalism, polish, and integrity:
- Education: Minimum of a completed Bachelor’s Degree. Fields of study such as Life or Health Sciences, Business, Marketing, or Communications are advantageous, but all disciplines demonstrating strong analytical and critical thinking skills will be considered.
- Superior Communication Skills: Highly articulate with an exceptional command of professional written and verbal English. You must be capable of conveying sophisticated scientific concepts clearly, confidently, and persuasively to both expecting parents and medical professionals.
- Results-Driven Motivation: A strong competitive spirit and a self-motivated approach to learning, meeting established performance metrics, and achieving outreach goals.
- Exemplary Work Ethic: Highly disciplined, punctual, and organized. You take extreme ownership of your responsibilities, show initiative, and thrive under minimal supervision.
