We are looking for a dedicated professional to support our diagnostic services across our various clinic locations.
The Role
In this position, you will be an essential part of our clinical team, providing high-quality diagnostic testing and ensuring our patients feel comfortable and informed. Since we operate multiple sites, this role requires travel between our clinics to meet patient needs.
What You’ll Do
- Perform diagnostic procedures, including 12-lead ECGs, exercise stress testing, and Holter monitor hook-ups/scanning.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Identify and immediately report any life-threatening arrhythmias or critical findings to the physician.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment, ensuring a clean and safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate with our cardiologists and nursing staff to provide seamless patient care.
What You Bring
- Education: Completion of a recognized Cardiovascular Technician program.
- Certification: Active registration with CSCT (Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists) or equivalent provincial body.
- Experience: Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred, but we welcome strong recent graduates.
- Skills: Strong technical proficiency, excellent communication, and a calm "bedside manner."
- Requirements: A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are mandatory for travel between clinic sites.
