Kärcher North America, the leading provider of consumer, commercial and industrial cleaning equipment in the United States and Canada is looking for Quality Return Supervisor to join the team. This position will be located in our Springdale Distribution Center.
PURPOSE
Designs, coordinates and directs quality processes to ensure continuous quality standards are achieved consistent with Kärcher quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain, improve, design and implement metrics that drive specific departmental improvement.
Build a successful team through hiring, training, appraisal, communication, counseling and coaching.
Develop employees for skill improvement and job enhancement.
Prepares, approves and controls Quality Assurance Department policies and procedures.
Establishes incoming and outgoing inspection criteria and ensures adherence to the inspection criteria related to product shipments.
Establishes and improves upon existing Quality assurance measures in production.
Responsible for developing corrective action plans to drive reduction in error rates.
Site responsibility for operations related IQR investigation, recording and responding.
Coordinates and directs external and internal audits; oversees qualification of inspection personnel and auditors.
Ensures thorough and timely warranty claims processing.
Communicates regularly with vendors when quality issues are identified regarding product that was received
Education
Associates degree in a related field from an accredited college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
One to two years of related experience is required
Lean Certification preferred
SAP experience preferred
