We currently have a Casual opportunity for a Physiotherapist at our Holland campus.
Summary of Duties:
Interdisciplinary assessment and treatment of clients with musculoskeletal disorders referred by third-party payers (eg. WSIB, employers, insurers, lawyers)
Completion of comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations
Collaborates with the WCP team to focus on evidence-based outcome-oriented recommendations for client and referral source
Educates clients and their families, hospital staff and the community regarding musculoskeletal disorders and preventative healthcare
Directs the daily activities of students/interns in the department, as required
Team-oriented, progressive clinical environment
Experience delivering services to employers, insurers and WSIB clients
Planning evaluation of clinical and educational programs
Continuing education and professional development
MScPT, BScPT or CPA-approved equivalent
Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with a primarily orthopedic caseload in an outpatient setting
Experience with third party insurers like WSIB
Demonstrated excellent written communication skills for the preparation of comprehensive reports
