Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Developer to help LBS identify new project opportunities, build long-term industry relationships, and create more opportunities for proposal submissions.
This role will focus on generating new business through cold calls, email outreach, follow-ups, meetings, and in-person visits. It will also include attending industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities when available.
The ideal candidate understands the construction industry, knows how projects are developed, and can build relationships with key project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cold calls, email outreach, follow-ups, meetings, and in-person visits to identify potential clients.
- Research and connect with developers, general contractors, architects, consultants, and project owners.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospects, clients, and industry contacts.
- Create opportunities for LBS to be invited to submit proposals.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events when available.
- Work with management and technical teams to support proposal opportunities.
- Track leads, conversations, project opportunities, and follow-up activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of business development, sales, or client relationship experience.
- Background or strong familiarity with construction, real estate development, architecture, engineering, or building materials.
- Strong understanding of the construction project lifecycle and key decision-makers.
- Existing network with developers, general contractors, architects, consultants, or construction-related firms is strongly preferred.
- Confident in cold outreach, phone calls, email communication, networking, and relationship-building.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to attend meetings, site visits, and industry events as required.

Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission, to be discussed based on experience
