Conditions of Employment:

Qualifications:
- Experience providing legal, secretarial and administrative support with respect to both litigation and general legal matters or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience entering and retrieving information from computerized systems and databases
- Effective oral communication skills in English
- Effective oral communication skills in French
- Excellent written communication skills in English with the ability to prepare correspondence to a variety of internal and external contacts
- Excellent written communication skills in French with the ability to prepare correspondence to a variety of internal and external contacts
- Experience handling and maintaining sensitive material in a confidential and professional manner
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
- Extensive experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience providing exceptional client service to the public in person, email and over the phone.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with departmental staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Duties:
This is a designated bilingual position (English and French) and provides reception and administrative support to the Finance, Legal, Education and Investigation areas of the Commission. This includes processing capital raising exemption reports, statistics and archiving. The position is required to ensure adequate administrative support with respect to providing service to the public and stakeholders.
