Your Key Deliverables

  • Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Maintain excel models and other analyses to drive initiatives, monitor trends, identify exceptions and to support the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
  • Assist with profit and loss forecasts, translate and communicate changes in these forecasts and their impact to department decision makers
  • Review project job cost and prepare variance analysis by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Work closely with Construction team to ensure savings & extras are properly translated into appropriate financial results – understand and meet your reporting needs and update on project cost-to-complete
  • Financial Reporting
  • Assist in Preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end working papers including GL and operational reconciliations, ledger and sub-ledger journal entries, and any required variance analysis
  • Attend various department and interdepartmental meetings to obtain information for analysis and reporting, and provide information and support to other departments
  • Assist accounting team in preparing and maintaining samples, checklists and other analyses required for year end audit
  • Database Maintenance
  • You are responsible for day-to-day enterprise resource planning inputs ensuring all asset additions, subtractions and changes are reflected in a timely manner.
Must Haves

  • Post-secondary degree in Business or Finance
  • 1-2 years' work experience in financial analytical role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Excellent command of MS Excel
