Duties
- Manage and oversee all accounting activities, including ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency
- Supervise finance staff, providing mentorship and guidance to foster a high-performing team
- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee investment activities to optimize liquidity
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA designation or CPA in progress preferred
- Strong hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting and AP/AR
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, operational accounting environment
- Looking for their next step into a Controller-level position
- Strong Excel/ERP skills
- Someone who wants mentorship and career growth
- Able to work independently but doesn't need to have previously managed a large accounting department
Pay: $150,000.00-$170,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Corporate finance: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (preferred)
