Check out the King's View Academy website at www.kingsviewacademy.com This website is designed to explain the educational approach to students of KVA and their parents as well as agents and guardians.
At KVA we employ "Content Experts" rather than teachers. There is no class- or group-instruction. We have no classrooms. The learning support is one-on-one. We use Google Classroom to support online learning, record-keeping, and full communication with students and their parents/guardians/agents.
The KVA Content Expert is an expert in the content area that he/she teaches at KVA. This can be any combination of formal education and experience. For example, a chemistry content expert could have an earned Ph.D. is Chemistry, or a closely-related discipline, or be enrolled in a Ph.D. program and currently holding a Master's degree in Chemistry, or just holding a Master's degree. The successful candidate could also have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree and has worked in this discipline and gained real-world experience.
A teaching degree is not considered real-world experience in a particular subject area.
A teaching license is not required as long as the candidate can demonstrate sufficient experience in pedagogical/andragogical/higher education settings (i.e. having "taught" or mentored in a formal education setting).
Currently accepting resumes/CVs for any discipline.
