Knight Inlet Lodge is a 100% Indigenous-owned wilderness lodge located in the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest on the coast of British Columbia. Guests from around the world travel here for exceptional wildlife experiences, warm hospitality, and an outstanding culinary experience.
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and guest-focused Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team for the operating season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys early mornings, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality food and service.
As Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering daily breakfast service for guests and staff while supporting the overall culinary operation of the lodge.
Your Responsibilities will Include
· Preparing and maintaining a full breakfast buffet with hot and continental offerings
· Operating an egg station and preparing eggs and omelets to order
· Providing friendly, professional guest interaction during breakfast service
· Managing breakfast clean-up and dishwashing responsibilities
· Preparing mid-morning snacks for returning guests and incoming arrivals
· Preparing fruit platters, desserts, soups, breads, and baked goods as directed by the Executive Chef
· Organizing and maintaining clean, orderly food preparation and storage areas
· Restocking and preparing for the following day’s breakfast service
· Supporting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with additional kitchen duties as needed

What We’re Looking For
· Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment
· Strong breakfast cooking and food preparation skills and experience
· Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards and consistency
· Comfortable working early mornings in a physically demanding role
· Strong organization, cleanliness, and time management skills
· Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
· Valid Food Safe certification
