What is the opportunity?

As part of a dynamic team, the Branch Administrator assists the Branch Manager in administering to all aspects of the day to day operations of running a Dominion Securities Branch.

What will you do?

As Branch Administrator, you will oversee the daily administration functions for the branch, including the Cage operations.
You will implement Branch Managers’ directive and ensure branch is efficiently managed
Identify, report and manage all compliance and internal control requirements; as well as regulatory requirements

Work with Branch Manager on training needs and coordinate initiatives for branch staff

Involved in hiring, termination and performance reviews of all direct reports
You will also be directly responsible for managing, coaching and providing leadership to the associate team.
In addition, you will monitor and ensure smooth front desk operations
Focus will also be towards compliance/ registrations/ regulatory changes and completing audit requirements.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Investment / Brokerage Industry
A minimum of 2-5 year’s Supervisory / Management experience
Completion of CSC and CPH
Strong oral and written communication skills

Nice-to-have

Knowledge of Technology
Broad knowledge of applications on the Retail Workstation
Working knowledge if the New Assistants and New IA Training Programs
