Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Contractor to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of building projects, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction tasks, from framing and drywall installation to concrete finishing and electrical work. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently across various tasks.
- Construct, install, repair, and restore structures including walls, floors, ceilings, cabinetry, and fixtures.
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, masonry work, and tile laying with precision.
- Install drywall, apply caulking, paint surfaces, and handle flooring installation to meet quality standards.
- Conduct plumbing and electrical work as required, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to estimate project costs and materials needed for upcoming tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to all safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven renovation construction experience with a strong understanding of carpentry, masonry, welding, and general building practices.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Hands-on experience with drywall installation, concrete finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinetry setup.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including forklifts or cranes is preferred.
- Familiarity with restoration projects or renovation work is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards.
- Prior experience in plumbing or electrical systems enhances versatility but is not mandatory.
