Human Resources Manager

Located in Calgary, AB the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for supporting the full range of human resources operations within North America. This role will provide guidance and coaching to all levels of the organization regarding employee relations, performance management, attendance management, recruitment, compensation, benefits etc. A champion of HR best practices, this role will act as a business partner while liaising with the business to develop and deliver solutions to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

Provide HR guidance and expertise to facilitate resolution of employee relations issues. Identify and partner with internal and external resources to assist in addressing issues
Implement corporate compensation philosophies and policies, performance appraisal and personal development programs
Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish positive employee relations and promote a high level of employee engagement
Act as the subject matter expert for benefits program management and administration
Implement best practices, process optimization and embrace ongoing change and development, serving as a change agent for company-wide initiatives
Enable the successful implementation of human resources strategies and policies
Influence and execute workforce planning activities, organizational design, and alignment to business strategies in order to meet the company growth plans
Assist with recruiting strategies to support the business objectives of all business units
Promote an understanding of the corporate culture and incorporate it into all practices
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 7+ years' Human Resources experience, OR appropriate combination of education and experience
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication style to all levels of an organization
Proven ability to work well both within an established framework and in ambiguous circumstances
Strong coaching and performance development experience
Demonstrated HR project management experience and successful end to end project implementation
Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities
Competent using the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
A valid passport with no impediments to international travel
