Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including therapeutic, relaxation, and rehabilitative techniques
- Assess clients' conditions and develop personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records of treatments provided
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health regulations
- Stay current with industry best practices and new techniques through ongoing professional development
- Collaborate with other health professionals when necessary to support client health goals
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health conditions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and listening to client concerns
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific protocols as needed
