Survey Crew Chief Fly In & Out – Fort McMurray
who, ideally, has experience in both Construction and Oilfield Survey sectors and has a desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.
The Work:
-
Oilfield surveys including but not limited to wellsites, OSE programs, line locating, and pipelines
- Construction surveys including but not limited to facilities, layout, piles and pile caps, and civil works
- Willing and able to complete shift work lasting up to 21 days
- Work is outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
- Follow safety protocol
- Provide guidance and mentorship to survey assistants
- Prepare clear, concise and accurate field notes, records and calculations
What you bring to the table:

Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to Connexa
- Desire for excellence in all that you do
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to liaise with clients
- Creativity
- A degree/diploma in Geomatics
- Experience leading a survey crew
- Experience performing legal surveys in the Alberta Township System
- Experience working on both industrial construction sites and remote bush conditions
- Experience with drones is an asset
