Journey Volkswagen is looking for a Parts Advisor to join our team at Journey Volkswagen of Coquitlam. We strive to provide a great team-based atmosphere and are actively involved in the community.
The Parts Advisor will provide excellent customer service to retail, wholesale, and internal customers. In the role, you will maximize OEM parts, tires, and accessories sales with a customer-centric approach to all duties and interactions.
We are a fast-paced Parts Department with a goal of 100% customer satisfaction.
What you will do:
· Assist all customers (front counter, over-the-phone retail and wholesale, and internal staff) in identifying requirements, selecting and obtaining parts, providing advice, suggestions, and comparisons
· Place parts orders using CDK
· Assist the Parts Manager in keeping a clean, organized, up-to-date, and fully stocked parts department
· Perform other duties as required/requested by management.
Position and Hours:
· Full time
· Monday to Friday
· Some Saturdays as necessary
Wage:
· Salary based on experience
· Bonus compensation based on gross profits.
What you will need to be part of our team:
· Minimum 2 years of dealership Parts Department experience
· Extensive knowledge of vehicle mechanical parts, body parts, electrical systems, tires, accessories, and aftermarket parts suppliers
· Experience on the back parts counter working with technicians
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
· Strong computer skills. Knowledge of CDK is considered an asset
· Solid organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work in a process-driven work environment
· Physically able to lift 50 LBS
· Valid BC Driver’s license and driver’s abstract
· Motivated team player
· A “can do” attitude putting customer needs first
