About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced 3PL warehouse team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring efficient material handling, accurate inventory movement, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, or order picker) safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, and move products within the warehouse and staging areas
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders in accordance with client requirements
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S principles
- Follow all workplace safety procedures, including PPE requirements and hazard reporting
- Ensure product quality by handling goods carefully and identifying damaged items
- Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock verification
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity targets
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to a zero-incident workplace culture
Quality Expectations
- Maintain high accuracy in order picking and inventory transactions
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and client-specific requirements
- Ensure all shipments meet quality and labeling standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of warehouse processes
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid forklift certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience, preferably in a 3PL environment
- Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
