Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with disabilities? Our esteemed child and youth therapy center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team!
As a Speech and Language Pathologist at our center, you will have the incredible opportunity to work directly with children with disabilities, helping them overcome communication challenges and unlock their full potential. You will be part of a team of compassionate professionals, including Behavior Analysts, Counsellors, Registered Behavior Technicians and Speech and Language Assistants who are committed to making a difference in the lives of these exceptional children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language difficulties in children with disabilities
- Develop personalized therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals.
- Provide evidence-based interventions to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, expressive language skills, and social communication.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to therapy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field of speech and language pathology.
As an SLP at Stepping Stones you will:

- Supervise self-motivated and enthusiast SLPA’s.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC
- Eligibility for registration on the Registry of Autism Service Providers is an asset.
- Experience working with children with disabilities, particularly in the areas of speech and language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and therapy needs.
