CUSTOMS SPECIALIST
Triad International is seeking a full time candidate in the customs brokerage department to expedite and process customs entries. The role requires an individual with excellent communication, written and data entry skills in addition to working within a team environment. The role also provides paid afterhours. This position is a great opportunity to develop or to deepen your knowledge of the customs brokerage industry.

Principal Responsibility
· Manage workload by monitoring release and rating of client shipments for all modes of transportation
· Provide accurate, timely information and assistance to customers requiring information
· Prepare and transmit electronic/paper releases and CAD entries to the Canada Border Services Agency.
· Reviews invoices, manifests and other supporting documents for compliance conformity to customs & corporate regulations
· Obtain customs paperwork, commercial invoices, Free Trade Agreements by calling vendor/client when required
· Maintains client database, updates information as necessary
· Other duties as required
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
- Minimum College Diploma in Business or International Trade
- 3-5 years previous brokerage experience or equivalent industry experience
- Accurate data entry skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well organized with attention to detail
- CCS preferred
