Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently bathe and groom pets according to established standards and client preferences
- Assist with drying and brushing, as needed to achieve desired grooming results
- Handle pets gently and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care needs and grooming preferences
- Assist team members with other tasks related to pet care and facility maintenance as required
Experience
- Prior experience in pet bathing or grooming is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals or equipment safely and responsibly
- Passion for animals and a genuine interest in providing high-quality pet care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
