Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented mixer in the for processing industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that ingredients are accurately mixed and processed according to established recipes and safety standards. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety practices, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate mixing equipment to combine ingredients according to specified recipes.
- Ensure all mixing processes adhere to food safety standards and regulations.
- Monitor the mixing process for consistency and quality, making adjustments as necessary.
- Sanitate all equipment and work areas regularly to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Package finished products for distribution, ensuring proper labeling and quality control.
- Assist in fabricating new mixing setups or adjustments as needed for different recipes.
- Maintain accurate records of production batches, including ingredient amounts and processing times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any issues that arise.
Skills
- Experience in the food industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of food safety practices.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately.
- Knowledge of food processing techniques and equipment operation.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus for managing ingredient inventory.
- Ability to fabricate equipment setups as required for various mixing processes.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
