Spallumcheen Golf and Country Club is looking for a Bartender to join our team!
Bartender Responsibilities:
- Greet customers at the bar and take their orders. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Use a POS system to ring up customers and handle cash and credit cards when checking them out.
- Prepare, serve, and glass alcoholic beverages.
- Clean glassware, tables, and equipment.
- Receive and process product orders.
- Communicate with management about issues or problems that arise in the bar or restaurant.
- Maintain stock of beer, wine, liquor, beer/liquor bottles, glasses, food/beverage containers, etc.
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date on new laws, regulations, tips from management, etc.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Must be able to work weekends and nights.
- Previous experience as a bartender is preferred.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends days.
- Must have BC Serving it Right
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
