ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Housekeeping Attendant is to provide a high standard of cleanliness thought the campus. Be able to clean patient rooms, offices, detox rooms and common areas to 1000 Islands Addiction Rehab & Treatment Centre Island standards.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:
-
Previous experience in a housekeeping capacity
-
Proven excellence in patient service
-
Self motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility
-
Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail
-
Must be flexible with working weekend and holidays
-
A minimum of I year experience in all aspects of housekeeping in a multi-use facility required
YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To clean rooms and offices quickly, neatly and efficiently
-
To ensure all corridors, decks, and common are clean and obstruction free
-
To maintain a neat and clean car, equipment, storage rooms and supplies
-
To assist with in-house laundry and sorting for distribution
-
To maintain a friendly and approachable attitude towards patients and staff
-
To maintain a clean and profession appearance
-
To respect all campus equipment and proper and use with care to avoid unnecessary damage
-
Document any deficiencies, including mechanical and electrical problems
-
Label and submit all lost and found items
-
Complete all other duties as assigned

Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and conduct Knowledge of WHMISS and safety standards
