Jason’s Security Inc. is seeking an experienced CCTV and low-voltage security systems technician to support installation, repair and maintenance assignments in Brampton and other locations across Ontario.
Responsibilities:
* Install, repair, replace and maintain security cameras
* Work with IP, PoE and analog CCTV systems
* Diagnose camera, power, network, cabling and recording issues
* Configure NVRs, DVRs, PoE switches, routers and remote-viewing applications
* Install and configure warning lights, sirens and two-way audio
* Program motion detection, human and vehicle alerts and mobile notifications
* Run, terminate and test Cat5e and Cat6 cabling
* Install camera mounts, junction boxes and protective conduit
* Replace damaged cameras, cables, connectors and power supplies
* Perform system inspections and preventive maintenance
* Prepare service, installation and repair reports
* Assist with alarm systems, access control, fob readers and intercom systems when qualified
Qualifications:
* Previous CCTV installation and repair experience
* Experience with Hikvision, Dahua, Lorex, Uniview, Reolink or similar systems
* Strong troubleshooting and networking knowledge
* Own professional tools and reliable transportation
* Valid driver’s licence
* Ability to provide references or examples of previous work
* Working at Heights certification for elevated work
* Scissor-lift or boom-lift certification is an asset
* Willingness to travel to different project locations
