Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Production Workers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating products using various hand and power tools. Your mechanical knowledge and ability to work in a warehouse environment will contribute to the efficient production of high-quality goods.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and fabricate components according to specifications and production schedules.
- Use of shop machinery to cut metal and assemble products as per drawings.
- Assemble hardware packages, and other components as per the cut lists.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Operate forklifts for the movement of materials within the warehouse as needed.
- Preparation of parts to be painted; paint small to large metal and steel pieces (DTM).
- Upkeep and maintenance of paint for the shop inventory.
- S & R; package products , load trailers for material to go to site.
- QC; ensure all items on the cut lists are packaged and loaded - nothing is defective, damaged or missing.
- Deliveries; run missing products to site, pick up material and products for site as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Strong mechanical knowledge ; ability to read blue prints, drawings and tape measures.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods during shifts.
This position is full-time, 40-44 hours per week, and benefits commence after three months.
