We are seeking a caring and compassionate Youth Support Worker to join our team in part time and full-time roles and help us deliver on our mission to provide the highest quality therapy to youth in our Chrysalis homes. This frontline role focuses on maintaining youth safety, wellbeing, and daily structure while providing mentorship, life-skills development, and consistent trauma-informed care.
Key Responsibilities:-
Support youth in daily routines, life skills, and positive peer interactions

Facilitate recreational, educational, social, and cultural activities

Prepare healthy meals and maintain home cleanliness

Transport youth to appointments, school, and activities

Administer medication as required and complete related documentation

Complete accurate daily logs and Incident Reports

Track petty cash, allowances, and grocery expenses
-
Participate in shift exchanges, staff meetings, and required training

Diploma in Human Services (or related field) considered an asset

Experience working with youth in group-home settings preferred

Experience in Nursing, Social Services, Home care, Educational Assistant positions, Early Childhood Education, Support Worker, Personal care aid, Human services support.

Certification in First Aid/CPR

Mental Health First Aid

NVCI/Mandt
-
ASIST/ASK
-
Valid driver's license/Driver's Abstract/Criminal Record Check/Social Development Check/1- million liability required.

Fluency in English is required (oral/written)

Ability to work with/around pets i.e., cats and dogs is required.

Schedule flexibility - days, evenings, overnight, weekends
