(18 Month Contract)
Working closely with the Residential Leasing Coordinator, the Leasing Consultant will be working on the Residential Leasing team and reporting to the Property Manager. Providing consistent and professional customer service, they will support the lease up of our new modern apartments in the heart of Hintonburg and Westboro to ensure all aspects of the current project are communicated on an on-going basis to prospective residents and certifying all respected lease documents are completed in a thorough and timely fashion. Assisting with the professional management of all residential properties within the portfolio, the Leasing Consultant will also provide support with the day-to day marketing and leasing functions.
The ideal candidate will be self-driven and motivated, with the capacity to handle changing priorities and multitask in a fast-paced sales environment. Working both independently and within a team setting, this position requires a flexible work schedule with both evening and weekend shifts.

So that you know what to expect on any given day, you'll be doing one or all of these things:
Demonstrating an all-inclusive understanding of pricing, floor plans, amenities, and other offerings the community provides while touring prospects.
Following-up on phone and internet inquiries from prospects and tenants.
Generating traffic of prospective residents by utilizing effective marketing techniques.
Conducting all tasks necessary to close the sale, including making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining the model suites and prospect follow up.
Ensuring adequate stock of professionally printed collateral and promotional items are always on hand.
Assisting with preparation of leasing documentation, tenant onboarding materials.
Assisting with monitoring and updating all social media channels to promote the property.
Assisting with marketing activities within the marketing budget, deviating only with prior approval.
Understanding and exceeding the expectations of residents, prospective residents, clients, and vendors.
Maintaining a positive property environment for both residents and staff while encouraging participation in events and activities.
Assisting in mediation and resolution of resident conflicts by encouraging the respect for and appreciation of individual differences.
Demonstrating professionalism, diplomacy, and tactfulness to generate a positive company image.
The qualifications we would like you to bring to the position include:
1-3 years of previous sales experience.
Bachelor's degree in a related field strongly preferred.
Prior experience in Property Management and the Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) is an asset.
Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.
Experience with Yardi and other CRM systems is an asset.
Bilingualism is an asset.
Valid Class G driver's license required.
