Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Subprime Finance Manager to join our team at Diamond Motors. As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our dealership. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finance and insurance (F&I) department, providing expert guidance to our customers, and working closely with our sales team to optimize deals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the finance and insurance department, ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations.
- Oversee the financing process for customers, including credit applications, loan approvals, and lease agreements.
- Offer financial advice to customers, helping them choose the most suitable financing options and aftermarket products.
- Maximize profitability by effectively structuring deals, managing interest rates, and promoting add-on products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions and insurance providers.
- Train and mentor finance team members to ensure exceptional customer service and compliance.
- Monitor department performance and develop strategies to achieve financial goals.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally and effectively.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, finance programs, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager in the automotive industry (required).
- In-depth knowledge of automotive finance and insurance processes.
- Strong understanding of lending practices, credit analysis, and finance software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
