The Role:
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage and optimize procurement
activities for OEM components, battery chargers, battery packs, and EV-related
products. The successful candidate will play a key role in supplier management,
sourcing, purchasing, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely delivery of materials
to support business operations.
What You'll Own:
Source and procure OEM components, battery parts, chargers, and other
electronic products from domestic and international suppliers.
-Manage purchase order creation, order entry, and procurement transactions
across multiple countries.
-Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to
achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
-Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure adequate
stock availability.
-Validate and authenticate supplier documentation, certifications, compliance
records, and quality-related documents.
-Track supplier performance, production schedules, shipment status, and delivery
deadlines.
-Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics providers, and suppliers to ensure
timely shipment and delivery of goods.
-Review and maintain procurement, sourcing, and inventory tracking
spreadsheets and reports.
-Support Soneil team members in China, including conducting regular meetings
and monitoring project progress.
-Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to support
product development and supply chain initiatives.
-Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, supplier relationships,
and overall supply chain efficiency.
Who We're Looking For:
-Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics,
Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
-5+ years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing experience,
preferably within the electronics, battery, charger, EV, or manufacturing industry.
-Experience dealing with international suppliers, particularly in Asia, is considered
a strong asset
-Understanding of electronic components, AC/DC power systems, battery
technologies, technical drawings, and low/high-voltage applications is an asset.
-Ability to review technical specifications and communicate effectively with
engineering teams
Experience working in distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
-Strong knowledge of ERP systems and procurement software; experience with
Odoo is preferred.
-Familiarity with international logistics, shipping documentation, customs
processes, and inventory management
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
-Highly organized with strong attention to detail
-Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
-Proactive, resourceful, and capable of making sound business decisions using
logic and data
-Strong communication and leadership skills with experience coordinating remote
teams
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
