Do you love dogs, enjoy being outdoors, and want a job where no two days are exactly the same? Furends Forever is looking for a reliable, caring, and energetic Dog Walker & Pet Sitter to join our team as a subcontractor!
This is such a fun and rewarding role, you’ll spend your days hanging out with amazing dogs, getting outside, staying active, and building relationships with both pets and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Take dogs on safe, enjoyable walks
- Provide pet sitting and drop-in care
- Feed pets and follow their individual routines
- Administer medication when required
- Keep pet areas clean and tidy
- Monitor pets and ensure their safety
- Communicate with clients and Furends Forever
- Report any concerns or incidents promptly
- Send Pupdates during each visit/walk/sit
What We’re Looking For
- Must be located in Burlington
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- A genuine love for dogs and animals
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and personalities
- Strong communication skills
- Flexible availability
- Able to work independently
- Physically able to walk and manage active pets

This is a subcontractor position, not an employee/employer position.
Hours are not guaranteed and will vary from day to day depending on bookings and your availability.
Most importantly, reliability is HUGE to us. When you accept a booking, our clients are counting on you to be there. We need someone dependable who can commit to the bookings they accept.

Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour
