Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Taekwondo Master (minimum 4th Dan Kukkiwon required) to join our martial arts academy as a Lead Instructor.
This role is designed for a senior-level martial artist with strong technical expertise, proven teaching experience, and the ability to lead structured Taekwondo programs for children, youth, and adults. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality instruction, maintaining technical standards, and supporting the growth of the academy.

Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver structured Taekwondo classes for students of all ages and levels
- Teach and refine poomsae (forms), sparring, basic techniques, conditioning, and self-defense
- Ensure technical instruction aligns with Kukkiwon standards
- Develop and maintain a progressive curriculum and student development pathway
- Conduct belt grading, evaluations, and testing sessions
- Maintain a disciplined, safe, and positive training environment
- Provide leadership and mentorship to assistant instructors (if applicable)
- Support student retention through strong communication and engagement
- Participate in academy events, demonstrations, and community programs
- Collaborate with management on program development and improvement
Requirements
- Minimum 4th Dan Kukkiwon Taekwondo certification (mandatory)
- Extensive experience in Taekwondo instruction (children and youth preferred)
- Strong leadership, classroom management, and communication skills
- Deep knowledge of Taekwondo techniques, terminology, and training structure
- Ability to run structured group classes independently
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification (required or must obtain immediately)
- Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check (mandatory)
- Professional, reliable, and committed to long-term role
- Strong passion for martial arts education and student development
Work Schedule
- 20–35 hours per week (with potential additional hours during special programs/events)
- Flexible schedule including evenings and occasional weekends
