The Windowing Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining windowing equipment while ensuring production efficiency, product quality, and compliance with safety and operating procedures.
- Locate and load the proper stock and materials for production.
- Prepare the feeder, windowing section, glue system, film feed, delivery, stacker, and packing station.
- Set up and operate windowing equipment according to customer specifications and standard operating procedures.
- Feed raw materials and window film into the machine.
- Monitor machine performance and maintain optimum production speed and quality.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain proper line clearance and control non-conforming products.
- Record production data, material usage, make-ready time, and production time.
- Maintain machinery and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
- Oversee and train team members on proper machine setup and operation.
- Follow all SOPs, work instructions, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant machine operating experience.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good math and time-management skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
- Able to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated.
- Safety shoes required.
- Regularly lift up to 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand throughout the shift.
- Good vision and attention to detail.
- Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for repetitive tasks.
