Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Accounting Administrator to support our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Accounting teams across multiple entities.This role is heavily focused on reconciliations, transaction accuracy, and structured data entry. You will play a key role in maintaining clean financial records, resolving discrepancies, and supporting operational departments through timely and accurate financial administration. This position includes development opportunity for someone looking to grow into an accountant role, with hands-on exposure to intercompany accounting, inventory tracing, and month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Cross-Department Accounting Support (AR, AP & Accounting)
- Provide structured data entry support across AR, AP, and general accounting
- Assist with account reconciliations and discrepancy resolution
- Support accurate transaction coding and documentation
- Investigate and follow through on variances to completion
- Assist with month-end reconciliation preparation and supporting schedules
Accounts Payable Reconciliations
- Perform detailed AP and vendor statement reconciliations
- Expedite invoice approvals and processing across departments
- Trace missing, duplicate, or incorrect invoices
- Ensure complete and organized supporting documentation
Intercompany Reconciliations
- Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions between entities
- Identify and resolve balancing differences
- Support month-end intercompany processes
Inventory Tracing & Journal Support
- Assist with inventory transaction tracing and discrepancy research
- Prepare correcting journal entries with appropriate documentation
- Support inventory and account adjustments as required
General Administrative Support
- Maintain organized digital and physical records
- Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient department operations

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, or related field (or working toward completion)
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Strong reconciliation skills and high attention to detail
- Comfortable investigating discrepancies and resolving issues independently
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with ERP/accounting software preferred
- Organized, dependable, and deadline-driven
