Our employer partner, My Insurance Broker, is seeking Junior Commercial Lines Account Managers to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with commercial clients while developing your expertise in account management and insurance operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound requests related to Commercial Property, Liability, Auto, and Specialty Lines policies.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
- Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and other policy documentation.
- Review and process transactions within EPIC.
- Support billing activities and monitor accounts receivable as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and insurance carriers.
- Communicate with carriers regarding policy inquiries, endorsements, and underwriting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Identify remarketing and cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and client records.
- Ensure compliance with carrier guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Participate in training, meetings, and process improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- College Diploma, University Degree, or equivalent industry experience.
- RIBO License in good standing is required.
- 1–3 years of commercial insurance brokerage experience.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and underwriting processes.
- Experience using insurance carrier portals and broker management systems.
- EPIC experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- CIP or CAIB designation (or working towards completion) is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
