Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient individual to join our team as a cook and Cashier. The ideal candidate will have experience in cooking , food service, a strong understanding of food safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in serving, food preparation, and restaurant operations while ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a courteous manner
- Operate cash register, handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, or cooking as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen stations
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of food items
- Support team members in meal preparation during busy hours
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cook or restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and meal preparation technique
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with kitchen operations are a plus
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required
- Food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable
