Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team at Bowline Logistics Ltd. Based out of Spruce Grove, Alberta, this is a full-time, hands-on role focused on the maintenance, inspection and repair of our fleet of trucks and trailers. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring our equipment performs at the highest level; upholding the safety standards, reliability, and operational efficiency that define Bowline’s reputation across North America.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Perform regular maintenance on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and fleet managers to schedule repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Respond to roadside service calls as required.
- Operate diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification.
- Proven experience in heavy-duty truck and trailer repair.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Class 1 license is an asset.

Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
