Under general supervision, the skilled Laborer performs various duties within our Manufacturing facility.
Ultimately, the job of the Skilled Laborer is to ensure that tasks are completed as efficiently and effectively as possible as well as:
- Operate a variety of tools such as drill presses, surface grinder, saws, welders, parts engraver and hand tools
- Assembly and packaging of machinery and product
- Shipping and Receiving
- Painting of components
- Grinding, cutting and polishing of Granite Stone
- Ability to multi-task
- Other duties as assigned
General Qualifications Required
- Grade 10, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Ability to operate a variety of tools and/or machinery
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and be part of a team
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
